Das Jagdmagazin mit Weitblick

The Jakele J1 ranks among Europe’s most innovative hunting rifles. Designed in Bavaria, this straight-pull bolt-action rifle combines the lightweight handling of a traditional break-action rifle with state-of-the-art safety features and outstanding accuracy. Schuss & Stille put the Jakele J1 through an extensive test alongside firearms expert David, evaluating its performance both on the shooting range and in real hunting conditions.

Some rifles you handle. Others you connect with. The Jakele J1 belongs to the latter. Thanks to Waffen Idl, the Austrian general importer, Schuss & Stille had the chance to take this modern hunting rifle on a weekend chamois hunt high in the Alps — a true field test between rock, snow, and silence.

When craftsmanship, passion, and mechanical genius come together, the result can be more than just another rifle. The Jakele J1 is exactly that — a firearm born from purpose, built to redefine safety, and designed with the kind of detail only true engineers obsess over.
